Little Libraries

In the fall of 2019 we started a literacy drive. Our initial members started collecting books and bringing them to our meetings so that we could take inventory for a Little Libraries project that we had started planning. Unfortunately, COVID-19 started up, and we shifted our focus a little to deal with the immediate issues of helping our community find a little more comfort and safety.

We picked up the project again in the Spring of 2023 and began construction work parties at member Brad Camp’s workshop. Over the last couple of years, we have accumulated hundreds of books that will stock the shelves of our new Viking-themed Little Libraries, which will be located at the Poulsbo Fishline and various neighborhoods throughout the city.
